Murder in NYC: Man, 70, stabbed to death inside Brooklyn home: One suspect charged

Brooklyn, NY – A 70-year-old man was fatally stabbed inside a Brooklyn residence Monday night, authorities said.

The victim, who sustained multiple stab wounds to the chest, was taken to a hospital by private means before being pronounced dead, officials confirmed. The deadly incident occurred inside 1323 East 87th Street in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn.

Police later arrested Josny Jean, 31, who lives at the same address. Jean was taken into custody at 11 p.m. within the confines of the 69th Precinct and has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of family members.

Investigators have not disclosed a possible motive in the deadly attack.
