NEW YORK, NY – Three lucky New York Lottery players each won $10,280 in the August 18 Take 5 Evening drawing, with winning tickets sold in Bay Shore, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.

The New York Lottery announced the winning tickets were purchased at three different retailers: 7-Eleven at 1375 Brentwood Road in Bay Shore, Hegeman Minimarket Food at 1017 Hegeman Avenue in Brooklyn, and Seattle Cafe at 2 Penn Plaza in Manhattan.

Take 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a field of 1 through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The New York Lottery, the largest and most profitable lottery in North America, contributed $3.6 billion to support public schools in New York State during the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
