$500,000 winning PICK 10 ticket sold at Newburgh smoke shop

NEWBURGH, NY — A lucky player who purchased a New York Lottery PICK 10 ticket at a local smoke shop in Newburgh is now holding a ticket worth half a million dollars.

The New York Lottery announced that one top-prize winning ticket for the January 19 PICK 10 drawing was sold at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh. That ticket matched the required numbers to win the $500,000 top prize.

PICK 10 draws ten winning numbers each night from a pool of 80. The daily drawing takes place at approximately 8:30 p.m., and prizes can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the draw.

The identity of the winner has not yet been announced. Lottery officials encourage all players to check their tickets and claim winnings in a timely manner.

According to the New York Lottery, $3.6 billion in revenue from games during the 2024–2025 fiscal year was used to support public education across the state.
