Milk crate ambush leaves man bloodied inside Queens Plaza subway station
QUEENS, NY — A 27-year-old man was struck in the face with a milk crate inside the Queens Plaza subway station in an unprovoked evening attack, police said.
The assault occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. Jan. 28 in a passageway of the station. According to investigators, the victim was walking through the corridor when an unidentified individual approached him from behind.
Police said the suspect struck the victim across the face with a milk crate, causing a laceration to his eye.
The attacker fled the station on foot to parts unknown. No arrest has been made.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual involved.
