Title: Investigation Launched After Man Seen Boarding County School Bus
**Suitland, MD** – Prince George’s County Police Department officers and detectives responded to an incident on Suitland Road involving a school bus carrying elementary students. On Thursday at approximately 2:05 PM, a 911 call reported a man boarding the bus. Officers arrived promptly, stopping the bus by 2:09 PM and confirming the students’ safety while noting that the man was no longer aboard.
Initial findings indicate that the bus driver transported the man to Washington, DC, before returning to Prince George’s County. The driver is believed to be acquainted or related to the man. Prior to the bus boarding, the man was allegedly involved in a dispute with another individual on Suitland Road. During the altercation, the suspect may have been armed, although the weapon was not taken onto the bus.
The gun involved in the earlier dispute was found at the location of the altercation. PGPD officers are actively searching for the man who left the scene. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Solvers through their website.
