GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A Pasadena man was arrested early Tuesday morning following an assault and home invasion in Glen Burnie. Officers responded to the 100 block of Faywood Court at approximately 1:15 a.m. after reports of a violent altercation.
According to police, a man and woman were seated in their vehicle when they were approached by a suspect asking for a cigarette. When the couple could not provide one, the suspect punched the 41-year-old male and cut him with a knife before fleeing the scene.
Shortly after, the suspect broke into a nearby apartment through a window, where he confronted a 44-year-old male resident. The suspect, armed with a knife, charged at the resident and threatened to kill him. The resident managed to subdue the suspect but sustained knife injuries to his arm and torso.
Officers arrived and arrested the suspect, identified as Terry Lamont White, 52, of Pasadena, who had outstanding warrants. Both victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
