Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating an 18-year-old man wanted on multiple charges related to the illegal possession and discharge of a firearm.
Syracuse, N.Y. – The Syracuse Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an 18-year-old suspect wanted on multiple firearm-related charges and is warning residents not to approach him.
Investigators identified the suspect as Samuel Bunch, 18, who is currently wanted in connection with charges involving the illegal possession and discharge of a firearm.

Investigators said they believe Bunch may be carrying a weapon and could pose a danger to the public.

The department emphasized its warning in capital letters, stating: “DO NOT APPROACH HIM.”

Anyone who spots Bunch is asked to call 911 immediately and provide dispatchers with his location.
“If you see Samuel Bunch, call 911 immediately and provide his location to dispatchers,” the department said.
Police are also encouraging anyone with information regarding Bunch’s whereabouts to contact the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222. Tips may be submitted anonymously.
