LANCASTER, Pa. — A 16-year-old has been charged in connection with a violent incident last month in Lancaster County, where he allegedly shot a man with an AR-style BB gun before stabbing him with a knife.

According to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, the incident occurred on Oct. 11 at approximately 6:30 p.m. at a residence in the 6100 block of Division Highway. Authorities say the teen, identified as Martin, used the BB gun to shoot the man inside the home.

The victim reportedly fought back, pushing Martin to the ground, but the altercation escalated when Martin retrieved a five-and-a-half-inch knife and stabbed the man.

The condition of the victim following the stabbing has not been disclosed, and the DA’s office has not released information about the motive for the attack.

Details on the specific charges Martin faces have not been made public. The investigation remains ongoing.

Law enforcement officials have not commented further on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
