COLUMBUS, OH – A 19-year-old man has been recently arrested for a fatal shooting that occurred in Hilltop, Columbus. On June 1, Columbus Police officers were called to the intersection of Belvidere Ave. and Fairmount Ave. due to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Scott Darthand Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, Columbus Police SWAT arrested La’Chovin Wilson on Friday. Wilson has been charged with murder.
