Teens Arrested in Baltimore Following Stolen Vehicle Chase

BALTIMORE, MD – A stolen vehicle incident in Baltimore’s Western District led to the arrest of two juveniles on March 22. An officer, assigned to a traffic detail, identified the stolen car traveling westbound on West North Avenue and attempted to stop the vehicle. However, the suspects inside the vehicle fled, prompting a coordinated response.

With the aid of Foxtrot, the police helicopter, the vehicle’s movements were tracked, allowing ground officers to be directed to the suspects’ location. The chase concluded in the 900 block of North Franklintown Road, where a 15-year-old male driver and his 16-year-old female passenger were apprehended without further incident.

The apprehended juveniles were subsequently transported to the Juvenile Justice Center for processing. The successful arrest underscores the effectiveness of police coordination in responding to crimes involving stolen vehicles.
