BALTIMORE, Md. — Three juveniles were arrested Friday after crashing a stolen vehicle and attempting to flee on foot through a wooded area in Northeast Baltimore, according to police.

On May 16, officers spotted the stolen car in the area of Perring Parkway and McClean Boulevard. As they attempted to intervene, the vehicle struck two other cars and crashed, injuring multiple people. The juveniles then ran from the scene toward the 5700 block of Perring Parkway.

Officers requested aerial support from Foxtrot, the department’s aviation unit, which located the suspects hiding under trees and brush in the wooded area.

A 14-year-old male and two 15-year-old males were taken into custody. Police also recovered a BB gun and a screwdriver from inside the vehicle.

All three suspects released on electronic monitoring

The juveniles were transported to the Juvenile Justice Center, where they were processed and later released on electronic monitoring. No additional charges or injuries were reported at the time of the arrest.
