Police say two unidentified individuals approached victims before stealing vehicle in daytime incident
Bronx, NY — Three teenage boys were targeted in a daytime armed robbery outside a Bronx building, where suspects displayed a firearm and fled with a moped, police said.
The incident occurred around 1:35 p.m. on April 6, 2026, in front of 642 East 233rd Street within the NYPD’s 47th Precinct, according to NYPD Crime Stoppers.

Authorities said two unidentified individuals approached the victims — two 14-year-old boys and a 17-year-old — while they were outside the location.
One suspect displayed a firearm, while the second removed a moped from the scene, police said.
Suspects remain at large
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the suspects fled the area following the robbery.
Police have not released descriptions beyond noting there were two individuals involved.
