TENTH DISTRICT, MD — A trailer fire early Sunday morning on Browns Place drew multiple fire units to the scene, where quick action ensured no injuries were reported.

The Tenth District Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call, with Chief 8A confirming an active fire upon arrival. Engine 8-3 advanced an attack line to suppress the flames, while Tanker 8 provided water throughout the operation. Chief 8-B oversaw efforts on the ground as the Division 1 supervisor.

Additional units from Engine 7-2, Engine 21-1, Truck 11, Truck 20, and Tanker 7 were dispatched to assist. According to officials, the trailer’s occupant had already escaped uninjured before the crews arrived.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze successfully, limiting the damage to the immediate structure. The department noted the personal connection among its responders, highlighting that the engine driver at the scene was the father of the interior crew.

No cause of the fire has been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
