DEPEW, NY — Two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets, each worth $50,000, were sold in New York for the Feb. 12 drawing.
One winning ticket was purchased at Tully’s, located at 1449 French Rd. in Depew. The other was sold at Players Cafe, located at 241 Bleecker St. in Manhattan.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with numbers drawn from a field of one to 69, plus a red Power Ball from a separate field of one to 26.
The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable, contributing billions annually to state education programs.
