Bottle attack on H Street leaves man injured as police hunt two suspects

WASHINGTON, DC – Two suspects are being sought after a verbal dispute inside an H Street establishment escalated into a bottle attack that left a man injured Tuesday evening, police said.

The assault occurred at approximately 6:12 p.m. inside a business in the 400 block of H Street, Northeast.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspects and the victim were involved in a verbal argument when one of the suspects assaulted the victim. A second suspect then struck the victim with a bottle before both individuals fled the scene.

The victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, and police have released photos as they work to identify those involved.

Anyone who can identify the suspects or has information about the incident is asked to call police at 202 727 9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to 1000 dollars is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
