McKeesport, PA — A man sitting inside his home was struck and killed by gunfire fired from outside, as investigators continue searching for those responsible in a case that remains unsolved more than a year later.

The shooting occurred on March 29 at approximately 9:59 p.m. at a residence on Abraham Street, where emergency crews found 37-year-old Kurtis Shaw with multiple gunshot wounds inside the home. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.

Investigators determined that more than a dozen shots were fired into the residence from outside, striking Shaw while he was seated on a couch.

Authorities said the suspect fled the scene in a stolen vehicle, which was later recovered by local police.
