Police say three suspects attacked 36-year-old victim and stole electronics, jewelry, and keys before fleeing on foot.
HARLEM, NY – A 36-year-old woman was hospitalized after being assaulted and robbed by three unidentified individuals Monday night in Harlem, police said.


The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on September 29 in front of 2541 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. According to investigators, the victim was approached by three people who engaged her in a verbal dispute that quickly turned violent. The suspects began punching and kicking her before stealing several of her personal belongings, including a cell phone, chain, headphones, iPad, Meta glasses, and a set of keys.
The group then fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
Victim treated for minor injuries
Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where she was treated for minor injuries and listed in stable condition. Detectives canvassed the surrounding area for witnesses and surveillance footage that may assist in identifying the attackers.
Investigation ongoing
As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made, and the suspects remain at large.
