Woman Charged for Gun and Drugs After Fleeing Cops in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – On Friday, officers from the Northwest District Action Team engaged in a vehicle stop on the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway, following a traffic violation. The situation escalated when the vehicle fled, prompting a search by the officers.

The vehicle was located in a nearby alley, where the driver, a 22-year-old female, attempted to escape on foot. Following a brief chase, officers apprehended her. A search resulted in the recovery of a semiautomatic handgun, ammunition, a scale, narcotics, and currency.

The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and has been charged accordingly.
