ADELPHI, Md. — A 31-year-old Hyattsville woman died following a two-vehicle collision Monday morning at the intersection of Adelphi Road and Riggs Road, according to Prince George’s County Police.
Officers responded to the crash at approximately 5:50 a.m. The victim, identified as Berta Marroquin Colindres, was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead several hours later.
The two drivers involved sustained what appeared to be minor injuries. Police have not yet determined the cause of the collision.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
The investigation remains ongoing as police work to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
