Northeast DC stabbing suspect remains on the run
WASHINGTON DC — Police are searching for a woman after a stabbing investigation unfolded overnight along Minnesota Avenue in Northeast DC, according to a Metropolitan Police Department crime alert.
MPD units responded shortly after midnight Thursday to the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue Northeast for reports of a stabbing.
Authorities said investigators are looking for a Black female believed to be connected to the incident.
Police described the suspect as wearing a white shirt and gray pants and possibly traveling in a black Hyundai Sonata.
No additional details about the stabbing or the victim’s condition were immediately released.
MPD advised the public not to approach the suspect and to call 911 if she is located.
