TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey players didn’t win big in this weekend’s Powerball drawing, but they won a lot of smaller prizes.
The Powerball drawing on Saturday, August 5, 2023, revealed the winning numbers as 18, 42, 44, 62, and 65, with the Red Power Ball number being 23. The Power Play multiplier for this draw was 2X. Notably, 37,246 players from New Jersey managed to win varying amounts, totaling an estimated $191,607. Prize values spanned from $4 to $200. With no jackpot winner this time, the Powerball jackpot grew to $145,000,000, setting the stage for the next draw on Monday, August 7.
The winning numbers were: 14, 25, 37, 57, and 67. The supplementary number, known as the Double Play Ball, was 16.
