PATERSON, NJ (PCPO NEWS) – Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce the arrests of Davon Burton, 26 years old, and Demetries Page, 24 years old, of Paterson, New Jersey. Mr. Burton and Ms. Page were arrested on September 29, 2021, after an investigation conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.
On September 16, 2021, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit with concerns for a seven-year-old child. Prosecutor’s Office detectives were able to interview multiple witnesses, including the seven-year-old child. The child reported to Prosecutor’s Office detectives that Mr. Burton and Ms. Page physically assaulted him on several occasions between September 2020 and September 2021 at their residence in the City of Paterson.
