Pedestrian struck and killed in morning crash

NEW CARROLLTON, MD – An adult male was struck and killed in a crash near the 7100 block of Good Luck Road in New Carrollton on Wednesday.

According to police, at approximately 6:00 am, officers responded to a pedestrian collision. 

“The preliminary investigation suggests the driver of the involved vehicle was traveling eastbound. Preliminarily, it appears the driver struck the pedestrian as he attempted to cross the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene,” the department said. “The driver remained on scene and was not injured.”
