Two teens charged after bringing bb guns to school, posting videos to social media

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – Two teens at Meade High School have been charged by police after videos circulated of students holding what appeared to be a handgun in the bathroom.

Police here say charges have been filed against a 15-year-old from Odenton and a 16-year-old from Hanover. but did not specify the charges or release the suspects’ names.

“SROs and Administration at Meade High School became aware of a video circulating that showed a student armed with a handgun in a bathroom at Meade High School. That student was quickly located and a BB gun was recovered,” the Anne Arundel Police reported. “While interviewing the other students in the video, a second BB gun was discovered. There were no injuries reported during this incident and the investigation is ongoing. There is no believed threat to students or faculty at this time.”
