LAUREL, MD – A suspect robbed the Laurel Dollar Tree located at 3401 Laurel Fort Meade Road Thursday night at around 9:45 pm. Police say the suspect managed to flee.
“An unknown male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the employee,” the Anne Arundel Police Department said. “The suspect threatened to shoot the employee if the employee did not comply. The employee handed the suspect an undetermined amount of currency, and the suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.”
The suspect was identified as a black male, stocky build with short, wearing a yellow jacket.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
