Driver Shot, But Escaped Attempted Carjacking in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, PA – A man sustained a gunshot wound while three assailants attempted to carjack him in Harrisburg on Sunday. Police said the man was shot as he fled his attackers.

“On Sunday, April 10th at about 2:20 a.m., the Harrisburg Police were advised that a male gunshot victim had arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment. Calls were also received reporting gunshots heard in the area of Jefferson and Emerald Streets,” Harrisburg Police said. “The victim advised officers that three males attempted to take his vehicle and he was shot as he drove away. The victim is currently in the hospital in fair condition.”
