14-Year-Old Shot in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is searching for the suspect responsible for a shooting that took place last Friday. “The victim was walking with a group in the 300 Block of North Hague Avenue near the railroad tracks when an unknown suspect fired a gun twice, striking the victim once in the left leg,” investigators say.

The victim was transported to Nationwide Children’s hospital. He is expected to survive and recover from his injuries.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Columbus Police Felony Assault Unit at 614-645-4141 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
