Group of Men Sought in Attempted Robbery in Brooklyn Park

BROOKLYN PARK, MD – On May 31, 2022, at approximately 6:45 p.m. officers, responded to an attempted citizen robbery in the 700 block of Church Street in Brooklyn Park. The adult male victim was walking on the sidewalk when he was approached by a group of six black males.

One of the males struck the victim with the grip of a pistol. After he was struck, another male told him to hand over his wallet. The victim did not have a wallet and was struck in the face with the firearm. The group of suspects fled toward the Shop Express. The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack.
