Columbus Teens Crash Stolen Car Then Shoot at Witnesses

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place near the 5000 block of Karl Road on Tuesday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the area on reports of juveniles firing gunshots. Upon arrival, they found that the suspects had gotten into an accident with a car that they had stolen. When the group was confronted by witnesses, they proceeded to fire gunshots.

A police pursuit ensued, and the group was eventually stopped in Newark, Ohio. Six juveniles, ages 12-16, were arrested and two stolen Kias were recovered.
