Four Shot, Two Dead After Gunman Opens Fire in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting of four in the Northeast section that left two dead. This incident happened on June 7th on the 5500 block of Plainfield Avenue.

According to police, “At approximately 6:29 p.m., officers responded to the 5500 block of Plainfield Avenue for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located four adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Two of the victims, ages 18 and 23 were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A third victim, an 18-year-old male was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he died a short time later, a 22-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene.”

Initial investigation discovered that the victims were outside a home on the 5500 block of Plainfield Avenue when a gunman opened fire on the four men
