NEW YORK, NY – Police operating along New York City’s East River were busy this past weekend with two water rescues, rescuing four people from the water. In one incident, three people were rescued from a capsized jetski.
The operators were safely pulled from the water.
Shortly after responding to that call, officers from “Harbor Charlie” were dispatched to a report of a man who jumped into the fast moving East River. He was pulled from the water and returned safely to shore.
