D.C. Police Searching For Robbery And Assault Suspect Caught on Surveillance

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington, D.C. is investigating a robbery and assault that took place on Friday afternoon. This incident took place on the 3500 block of Georgia Avenue in Northwest, D.C.. The police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

According to police, “At approximately 5:32 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim, took the victim’s property then fled the scene.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
