Two Alleged Drug Dealers Arrested in Absecon

ABSECON, NJ – Two suspects were charged after police in Absecon initiated a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle on Friday.

During the early morning hours, a city officer was patrolling the White Horse Pike when the patrol vehicle’s automated license plate reader (ALPR) alerted to a stolen motor vehicle out of the City of Trenton.

After making contact with the occupants, the driver Jordan Eaddy of Philadelphia, PA, and the passenger Amani Abdullah of Somers Point, NJ, were detained and found to be in possession of over two hundred wax folds of heroin.

Amani Abdullah, 18, was charged with hindering apprehension, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute.

Jordan Eaddy, 31, was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute.

Both subjects were released on a summons pending their appearance in the Atlantic County Superior Court.
