Ready or not, it’s back to school time! Parents often refer to this as the most wonderful time of the year, while students sometimes disagree. Regardless of how you feel, the SCPD is here to help with your back to school needs.

Fifth Precinct police officers joined teachers and community members at the Boys & Girls Club in Bellport for a back to school event on August 26. During the event, students received new backpacks stuffed to the brim with the supplies needed for a successful school year. Attendees, including Fifth Precinct Inspector John Sumwalt, also lined up to receive stylish back to school ‘dos.
