55-year-old man found dead after a report of gunshots in Pleasantville

Pleasantville, NJ- A 55-year-old man was found dead by police after Pleasantville police officers responded to shots fired calls in the area of 4th Avenue late Tuesday night.

Upon their arrival, officers found 55-year-old Craig Wyatt unconscious and unresponsive outside of a Hendricks Street home.

According to police, Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, investigators have not determined a motive or identified any suspects in the shooting.

The medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy in order to determine the cause and manner of death.
