Two charged for fatal Monday morning shooting in Camden

Camden, NJ- The Camden County police department has arrested two men in connection with a murder that took place on Monday in the area of Davis Street in Camden.

 Dominique Bowman, 38, of Lindenwold, NJ, and Jamel Granger, 18, of Clementon, NJ were both charged with first-degree murder and second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon after fatally shooting Darrell Whichard, 31, of Philadelphia.

Both men were arrested and taken to Camden County Correctional Facility.

According to police at around 3:32 a.m. please arrive at the scene to find Whichard suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene and rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead 7 hours later.
