What’s going there? Lot cleared for future project in eastern Jackson

by Phil Stilton

JACKSON, NJ – You might have seen a new clearing at a once-wooded corner on the eastern edge of Jackson Township. Last week, clearing began at the intersection of Hope Chapel Road and East Veterans Highway on the northwest corner, the last untouched corner at the bustling intersection.

Little has been said about what is coming at the site, but today it became known that Highland Development Ventures is building climate controlled drive-through storage facility.

The project is unofficially known as 4 North Hope Chapel Road. It sits across from the Liberty Commons shopping plaza, Jackson Crossings and a Buy-Rite liquors. The 122,000-square-foot building is a modern-looking building.
