Two shot inside parked car in the Bronx were robbery victims, police

NEW YORK, NY – On Wednesday, a gunman shot two men sitting inside a parked car in the Bronx. Detectives with the 44th Precinct on Thursday released a photo of the suspect wanted in connection to that shooting.

Police said the shooting occurred near 1065 Nelson Avenue when the unknown gunman approached the two men at around 4:45 pm.

“The individual then demanded property at gunpoint and discharged it, striking a 21-year-old male in the right arm and a 33-year-old male in the lower abdomen,” the NYPD reported. “The individual fled the location in a white sedan heading southbound on Nelson Avenue towards 165 Street.”

The New York City Police Department is asking for the publics assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the following individual depicted in the attached media being sought in connection with a gunpoint robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct

The two victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
