Woman reported missing in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – Police in Brooklyn are searching for a woman reported missing by her family on Thursday. According to police, Maria Sosa, 43, a Hispanic female was last seen near the Red Hook Houses before she went missing.


Maria Sosa was last seen on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at approximately 11 am after leaving her residence. She is 5’5″ tall, and weighs 120 pounds with a light complexion, average build, brown hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue flower print tights and a light-colored shirt.
