Suspect arrested in Harlem shooting that left one dead

NEW YORK, NY – New York City police are investigating a shooting-related death that took place inside a Harlem home on West 152nd Street overnight.

According to police, a 39-year-old man was shot by a suspect reportedly known to him inside a Manhattan home at around 9:30 pm. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police arrived at the home located at 453 West 152nd Street to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Detectives said the gunman and the suspect were acquaintances but did not release the names of either the victim or the suspect.

NYPD has not announced any arrests in this case.
