Woman stabbed to death by 71-year-old man in East Flatbush

NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating the stabbing death of a 58-year-old woman found during a wellness check at an apartment at 569A Linden Boulevard in Brooklyn.

Police were called to the home to check on the woman. Upon arriving at around 5:45 on Monday, they found the 58-year-old woman unresponsive and unconscious, with multiple stab wounds to her body.

EMS responded and declared the woman dead at the scene.

Officers have arrested a 71-year-old man for the woman’s death. His name was not released. Charges are unknown at this time.

The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
