Public Assistance Requested to Identify Reckless Endangerment Suspect in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible for a reckless endangerment incident that occurred Tuesday, within the 67th Precinct. At around 2:18 PM, an unknown individual displayed a firearm and fired multiple rounds towards another unidentified person near 9719 Church Avenue, with several pedestrians walking along the sidewalk. Fortunately, no injuries or property damage were reported as a result of the incident. The suspect fled westbound on Church Avenue.

The NYPD urges anyone with information about this incident to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish speakers, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
