Brooklyn man shot and killed Friday night

A Brooklyn man was fatally shot on Friday night, according to police reports.

At around 8:20 pm on April 14, 2023, authorities received a 911 call reporting gunfire on Albemarle Road, within the jurisdiction of the 70 Precinct. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a 38-year-old male victim who had been shot in the torso.

Emergency Medical Services arrived and rushed the man to Kings County Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Winston Chee, who resided at 5 Alice Court in Brooklyn.

No arrests have been made yet, and police investigations are still ongoing. Further information about the incident has not been released at this time.
