NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating a reported kidnapping that took place in Brooklyn on Friday.
Poice are seeking assistance in locating a vehicle that is believed to be connected to the incident.
According to police reports, the kidnapping took place on Friday, April 21, 2023, at approximately 1:45 am in the vicinity of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue. An unknown male individual kidnapped an unidentified female victim and placed her into a minivan before fleeing the scene in a northbound direction on Stillwell Avenue.
The victim is described as a female in her twenties with light skin complexion, long hair, approximately 5’5” tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a striped shirt, blue skirt, and white sneakers.
The suspect is described as a male in his thirties with light skin complexion, facial hair, approximately 5’10” tall, and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark pants, and black sneakers.
The vehicle used in the incident is described as a late model Toyota minivan with an unknown registration number. The NYPD has released images of the vehicle and is urging anyone with information about the case to come forward.
