Philadelphia Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Shooting of 37-Year-Old Man

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively searching for a suspect and vehicle involved in the recent shooting death of a 37-year-old male outside of 1600 S. 53rd Street. The suspect arrived at the scene in what is believed to be a newer model Nissan Sentra, possibly gray or metallic in color.

He approached the property as if to enter, then turned and shot the victim at close range.

After the shooting, the suspect fled in the vehicle, heading south on 53rd Street.

The city of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or the vehicle is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department. If you see the suspect, do not approach; instead, call 911 immediately.
