D.C. Armed Carjacker Caught On Surveillance

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s Carjacking Task Force detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect associated with an Armed Carjacking on April 13th at the 600 block of L Street in Northwest, D.C.

The victim, seated in their vehicle at the listed location, was approached by the suspect shortly before 4 pm. The suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded that the victim exit the vehicle, which they did. Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

A surveillance camera captured the suspect. If you have any information about this incident or can identify the suspect, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
