Off-duty NYC cop charged for DWI

NEW YORK, NY – An off-duty NYPD police officer was arrested and charged on Thursday at around 10 pm in Queens.

Marlenis Roque, a 38-year-old female police officer, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by alcohol, and refusal to take a breath test.

The arrest was made after Roque was pulled over and suspected of driving under the influence.

The NYPD has not released any further details regarding the incident.
