Police Search For Gunman in Northwest D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department is searching for a suspect after a shooting Monday night at the 1400 block of S Street in Northwest D.C.

According to witnesses, a black male wearing a black hooded sweater, dark pants, and short dreads was seen carrying a handgun. The suspect was last seen heading eastbound from the location. Police have issued a lookout for the suspect.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to come forward. If you have any information about this case, please take no action but call the police at 202-727-9099 or TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.
