NYPD seeking suspects in January back alley gunfight

NEW YORK CITY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected shooting that occurred on January 12, 2023, in the 76 Precinct. Multiple unknown individuals were engaged in an exchange of gunfire in the rear of 244 Bond Street. A marked police vehicle was traveling down the street as the gunfire ensued and was struck by one of the discharged rounds.

The pictured individual, as well as the other individuals, fled police on Douglass Street towards Hoyt Street

. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. The suspect is described as a male, dark complexion, approximately 5’8” tall, last seen wearing a black and orange jacket, an orange backpack, and black sneakers. The NYPD urges anyone with information to come forward.
