Philadelphia Police Seek Suspect in ATM Robber

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On Monday, a 66-year-old woman was robbed of $700 after withdrawing money from a Wells Fargo ATM located at 101 E. Olney Ave.

The suspect, described as a black male in his late 20s, 5’4″ with a thin build, wearing a black hat and hooded sweatshirt with gray pants, grabbed the money from the victim’s purse after a brief struggle.

The offender fled the scene and was last seen heading north through the shopping center parking lot. The victim was not injured during the incident. Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is actively investigating the case and is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect.
